Famous offshore regatta yacht, 1st class R.O.R.C. Stephens and Sparkman project. Yawl sail equipment. In January 1961, CORSARO II joined the Italian Navy as a sail training ship for officer training. Sailing in the Atlantic and Pacific, she took part in numerous international cruises and regattas, taking first place between Honolulu and Kaual in 1961, Torbay and Rotterdam in 1962, and Lisbon and Bermuda in 1964.
